Create with compassion!
Enter Art for Animals 2013!
The National Anti-Vivisection Society (NAVS) is proud to announce Art for Animals 2013! NAVS is seeking the best and brightest artists to provide viewers with a fresh and creative perspective about respect, justice and compassion for animals. We invite animal lovers and artists of all ages - professionals and amateurs – to submit inspiring artwork that best demonstrates one - or both - of this year's themes:
Advancing Science Without Harming Animals
Extending Holiday Greetings to All Creatures
Past submissions have been chosen to illustrate NAVS publications, posters, stationery, and other media. In addition, NAVS recognizes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in three age categories as well as Best Photo and Best in Show - all of whom are awarded cash prizes.
You may wish to honor animals that have made a difference in your life; or give a voice to those who suffer silently in the name of science. Whether you are inspired by animals in your life or animals in your thoughts, you can be a powerful creative force on behalf of animals.
And feel free to spread the word! Forward this email to interested friends and family, or send them to our website where they can download our entry form and view past submissions. Or post our entry form in your art classroom or community bulletin board. Remember: Art for Animals makes a great class project! To receive an entry form via fax, mail, or e-mail, please call us at 800-888-NAVS (800-888-6287).
If you’re an artist, photographer, painter, graphic artist, poet, musician, or filmmaker, enter Art for Animals today!
