NAVS' 2015 “Safe Havens” Calendar Features Stories and Photos of Animals Helped by the NAVS Sanctuary Fund
As the days and months go by, calendars mark our celebrations of holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. They also remind us of appointments and meetings and things to be done.
The NAVS 2015 “Safe Havens” calendar is a one-of-a-kind timetable that also commemorates the lives of animals saved from disasters and cruelty thanks to the generosity of NAVS’ supporters.
The NAVS Sanctuary Fund is an emergency financial assistance program which provides immediate intervention for animals in life-threatening situations. Sanctuary Fund grants have helped retire chimpanzees to sanctuaries; rebuilt shelters destroyed by hurricanes, tornadoes and other natural disasters; rescued animals from abusive situations; conducted wildlife rehabilitation efforts; and supported innovative spay/neuter programs.
For a limited time, you can receive a copy of the NAVS’ 2015 calendar—and in the process, help us continue to create more “happily ever afters” for animals all across the country. Every animal in this beautiful, full-color calendar has a compelling story. Here are two of them:
- In May, you’ll meet feline “supermodel” Beast, who found her forever home thanks to For the Love of Pets, which provides financial assistance to help pay for pet food, veterinary care or foreclosure assistance.
- Charlotte and her sister Samantha—aka “Chainsaw”—bring a double shot of hijinks to June. Charlotte and Samantha spend their days doing what siblings do at Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary, a permanent haven for monkeys who have been abused, confiscated by authorities, retired from research or abandoned by their owners.
The NAVS 2015 “Safe Havens” calendar can be yours for a donation of only $15.
Get one for yourself, and give additional copies as gifts to friends and relatives. We’ll even ship them out to you at no additional cost.
The “happily ever afters” made possible by the NAVS Sanctuary Fund—and the amazing sanctuaries and rescue organizations who provide safe havens—give us hope for a more compassionate world. Displaying this unique calendar in your home or office is an inspiring reminder of the ways in which you can help animals in their most desperate hour.
